The Journey provides multiple counseling, treatment, and assessment services for adolescents, adults, children, couples and families. We have four out-patient counseling clinics (Provo, Mt. Pleasant, Salt lake Valley, and Vernal) which offer a full range of individual, group, and family therapy for adolescents, children, adults and couples. Additionally we can do a variety of assessments for such things as substance abuse, psychological difficulties, and academic problems. Also, we have four residential treatment centers and multiple proctor homes for both adolescent males and females with behavioral and substance abuse issues. The Journey has contracts with DJJS and DCFS. All our clinics and programs are licensed by the Utah Department of Human Services, Office of Licensing. News! The Journey is holding a Free Community Event!

Our Provo outpatient clinic is putting on FREE presentations for the community. Each of these presentations is designed to help people know how to help others that are struggling with these topics and give individuals resources they can use throughout the entire community to assist them or those they know in dealing with these challenges. Three of our therapists will be presenting on these topics during the month of February. Tuesday Feb. 5th Chelsea Thomas is presenting on Transforming the Difficult Child Parenting course to help parents understand their children and gain skills to decrease negative behaviors and increase positive outcomes. Wednesday Feb. 20th Brett Talbot is presenting on Suicide Prevention How to recognize the warning signs of suicide. How to approach an individual that may be suicidal, and how to help them get help. Thursday Feb. 28th Cindy Graves is presenting on Pornography and Sexual Addictions Understanding what addiction is. Understanding how addiction affects family members, and how to help the entire family cope Each presentation will be from 7PM to 8PM and we will have light refreshments from 6:30 to 7. The Journey welcomes The MAP providing Specialized Counseling services for same gender attraction.

The MAP is a new treatment program that recognizes the emotional turmoil that can lead individuals to withdraw from their families and needlessly conclude that they must remain alone with their struggle.
